Set quietly by the waterside in West Lakes, this cafe offers a low-key spot to enjoy a variety of comforting and thoughtfully prepared meals throughout the day. The menu leans into familiar all-day breakfasts and brunch options — think scrambled eggs with a chilli crab twist, buttery croissants, and light sweet crepes — alongside more substantial choices like pan-seared scallops or tandoori chicken for lunch and dinner. The coffee draws a steady crowd, particularly those who appreciate a well-made matcha chai latte or a carefully crafted choc martini, complementing the calm atmosphere.
On a typical visit, the space feels relaxed and a little retreat-like, with seating that spills outdoors for anyone wanting to soak in the gentle lakeside views. It’s a place where you can easily settle in solo with a laptop or enjoy laid-back catch-ups with family and friends. The vibe attracts a mix of locals and visitors seeking a casual but considered dining experience, where friendly staff add to the warm, welcoming environment. Whether you’re popping in for breakfast, a mid-afternoon dessert, or a quiet brunch, the combination of accessible, wholesome food and a peaceful setting by the water shapes the core appeal here.
Families and groups are well accommodated, as are those looking for vegan or vegetarian options, and dog owners appreciate the pet-friendly outdoor seating. The location near West Lakes feels open and less hectic than many inner-city spots, making it a quiet nook to unwind while enjoying a diverse menu and attentive table service.

"Lovely and quiet water and wildlife views.Food and barista coffee very yummy! 😃"
"Staff are super friendly and there is a good sized menu to suit all tastes."
"Food was tasty although servings slightly small for price."
5 A nice cafeteria next to the West Lakes. The owner and staff are very friendly. The food was delicious. I particularly liked the chili crab & scrambled eggs, tasty. The view is fantastic with the beautiful West Lakes just right in front of you. Recommended for family & friends catch-up.
4 Went there over the weekend. The chicken burger was really good, but the big breakfast was just okay — the bacon wasn’t crispy and the mushrooms had too much vinegar. The view and service were great though!
5 How to find: from car park, follow the signage and walk down to the lakeside frontage entrance. If you’re looking for a spot that you can chill to enjoy the atmosphere this is it. This might be my new favorite lakeside cafe! Coffee is good & smoothies are great! Food is flavourful and owner & staff are hospitable! The photos just speak for itself!
5 One of the best hidden gem cafes around! So quiet, no traffic noise, almost no people walking by, a very very peaceful cafe. The view is so refreshing and calming. The food tastes amazing too! I loved my savoury crape /w the salad.
5 The coffee is an absolute one that you can enjoy with a peaceful, chill vibe just closeby the lake. Staffs are hundred percent friendly, enthusiastic with care
5 This is one of our most favorite places in the world, hands down. The service is always incredible. The food is so yummy. I'm obsessed with their eggs Benny, and I really need to learn how to make their chicken burger, or my husband might just leave me. But it's not just the amazing service and food; the location is gorgeous. We love going there because it feels like we're on vacation. Oh, the coffee is also perfect! - very important.
5 After reading the positive reviews I made this small cafe a ‘must try’ on a walk round the lake. What a great find. It was a quiet Tuesday morning, and I was served immediately by the friendly staff. My latte was extra hot as requested and actually tasted like coffee (take note Cibo!!) The seating area on the balcony is perfect for enjoying the views of the lake.
People often enjoy the Croque Monsieur, Matcha Chai Latte, coffee, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon, and the Lemon Meringue Pie.
